Copy Handler

Copy Handler has been published on sourceforge.net !

I have been wandering about that move for quite some time, but was not convinced until now.
The move was done partially because of the chronical lacks of time which I could spend on expanding the project - even if there was some of it, I had to reply to e-mails, reply to posts on forum, make translations of news on the website instead of actually write any code.
Moving to sf.net should take some of the tasks off me - mostly through the bug reporting, feature requests and support requests trackers which does not require me to reply to so much e-mails. It also eases the release management and answers the questions related to code availability.
The next step is probably to completely discard the translation of this site to Polish language and switch to wiki-style web page - all to save some bits of time, so I could spend it modifying Copy Handler.

I would also like to apologize all people writing e-mails to me and posting on forum for not responding in reasonable time - maybe the changes related to this site would allow me to find more time to respond earlier (please note that you can help by asking your questions on forum and respond to other people, so anyone can benefit from it).

The new beta version of Copy Handler was just released and is available for downloading in the download section. I would recommend using this version as it fixes some common problems related to the translation system.
Please note that only three or four languages have been updated so far.

Any feedback is welcome - please post in our forum for a wider audience to benefit from the discussion.

A new board on the forum has been created where you can find language updated for the current version of Copy Handler.
This is also an information for translators - if you want to update or make a new language file that is not being shipped with current CH - check this forum for the existence of your language - it could have already been made by someone else.
After finishing creating/updating language file - please post it on mentioned board to make it available for others.

Copy Handler 1.30 as posted on this site have many languages included with it, however as you have already noticed - most of them are unusable. It is due to the fact that the translation format changed with this version and all the translations (with exception of Polish and English) have been invalidated.

To make those translations available once again they need to be reviewed against the current English translation and updated using the translation program included with Copy Handler. More on the topic is available in the article regarding translation. You could help with this task to make CH available in those languages once again.

Version 1.30 features support for unicode, Windows Vista, 64bit systems and a few other features and bugfixes (full list of changes).
